Myu Inoue (b. Hong Kong) is a New York-based photographer whose work is influenced by her mixed Japanese and Chinese upbringing. She received a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Psychology from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts in 2021. During her education at Parsons School of Design, she was the recipient of the Dean’s BFA Scholarship for four consecutive years. Her work has been published and written about in PussPuss, Sukeban, Lithium, TokSick and featured on Milk magazine’s social media platforms. Previous commissions include photographing the album artwork for Instupendo’s EP “Friend of a Friend,” apparel collection for research and design based platform Ayem, and “2040/LIGHT” clothing collection for fashion designer Anson Li. She has previously worked as a freelance content producer for vintage furniture curation brand Sweeterfat, teaching assistant for Parsons Academy, and technician for the photography department at Parsons School of Design.
